Benedryl can be given to dogs for allergies or an allergic reaction. The dosage is 1mg per pound twice daily. (i.e. 25# dog would get 1 25mg tablet twice daily.) Smaller dogs can take liquid Benedryl, the dosage is 1/4 tsp per 5# twice daily.
